Lodging
We have
two ranch houses plus campers for your selection.
You may choose among:
- Sophie's
House: The original ranch headquarters, an adobe
built in 1918. This house has shared bath facilities.
- Suzy's
House: Built for the then-owner's daughter upon
her marriage in the early 1960's and offers spectacular views,
especially of desert sunsets. This house has shared bath facilities.
- Cabins/Campers:
Great for families, or those desiring private baths.
Meals are
usually served family style and will include at least one dinner
cooked over a campfire, chuck-wagon style. If you have dietary
requirements or preferences, please let us know and we'll be glad
to accommodate you. (Our ranch cook is always looking for new
recipes.)
We
are open year-round with unseasonable temperatures being the rule
(we have had snow in late April and 80 degree weather in January.)
so please plan carefully. However, in winter the day time temperatures
generally range from 50 - 75°. Night time winter temperatures
range from below freezing to 40°. Fall and Spring temperatures
range in the 70's to 90's during the day, and 50's to 70's at
night. In the Summer months, daytime temperatures range from 80°
to the low 100's and from 60 to 75° at night.
Check-in
is after 2:30 PM and check-out is by NOON. When you send in the
deposit for your reservations, we will send you directions and
other information pertaining to the ranch.
