Accommodations are the finest, with lodge and privately-spaced cabins (with a scenic view) crafted of sweet-smelling cedar logs, a variety of authentic western or antique appointments, plus the best home cooking this side of the Crazies! Your appetite may surprise you (it's the sparkling Montana air) and the meals served family-style in the lodge are prepared to satisfy and please-from hearty country breakfasts and fresh bread to sizzling steaks off the grill. Kids can ride with the group at age 6. Four and five year olds ride with their own wrangler. Care provided for kids 3 & under. Bonanza Creek Country season is late May through late September. Rates include lodging, three meals a day, horseback riding, herding cattle, team penning, hiking, private lake fishing, wildlife watching, evening ride and cookout, and all day ride. Last but not least, peace and quiet and loads of fun. Group Rates: Call about our special rates for groups of 10 or more in June and September. There are new horseback rides every day, some half a day, others with lunch on the trail. Riding is open riding rather than trail riding. Horses are available for the beginners and for the more experienced cowboys and those in between. Clothing: Bring jeans or riding pants, long and short sleeved shirts, boots with a riding heel, and a jacket or sweatshirt for evening. Optional gear includes gloves, hat or helmet, rain gear, fishing equipment and a camera. Reservations will be confirmed upon receipt of a 30% deposit, refundable before April 1st, subject to space being re-booked. Accommodation tax not included. Payment: personal check, cash, travelers check preferred. Montana has a 4% accommodation tax. Airport pickup is available in Billings (135 miles) or Bozeman (100 miles) for $200 per group. However, if you can, rent a vehicle and soak up the scenery as you make your way to Bonanza Creek Country. From Billings, follow your map to Martinsdale, turn west onto Hwy. 294 for 12 miles. Turn into Lennep (church, school & a few homes). Bozeman, follow your map to Ringling, go another 4 miles and turn right onto 294 and go 15 miles to Lennep. Follow the gravel road past the church for 6 miles. Watch for Bonanza Creek signs. |
