Big Game Hunting:

"We have hunted and traveled a good part of the world with great experiences in Newfoundland, Canada and Alaska - but nothing compares to our experience here at Buffalo Creek Ranch. John and his people are the best ever! Bar none. Great attitude and personal interest in everyone! Sincerely, Roger, Roger, Tony and Tony (quoted by 2002 hunters/lifetime friends from NJ and their sons)

Big Game Hunters
Think of it: Twelve thousand PRIVATE acres in a lush valley dramatically sheltered by the towering Continental Divide and Buffalo Ridge harboring a large resident elk herd year 'round. With elevations from 8,000 ft to 10,500 ft, there is a varying terrain. Add to it, a healthy resident population, the migrating herds from nearby Rocky Mountain National Park and hunting pressure from adjacent Routt National Forest and BLM land, you've got an equation that equals to more elk streaming into this funnel than our maximum of four hunters could ever hope for. Not enough? Okay, we’ll add another nearby four thousand private acre ranch. Nirvana.

Hearty meals and professional, local guides are just a part of the package. Accommodations are luxurious and the game is thick with minimum hunting pressure. If you add up all those elements, you have the best big game hunting in Colorado.

". . .fantasy hunting at Buffalo Creek. Every day of my hunt had beautiful animals and exciting action. A breathtakingly beautiful ranch. I'll be back!"
