Offering fun and educational activities,
the summer and winter programs at C Lazy U are organized by creative and energetic
counselors. Children are divided into three groups according to age (3-5 year olds; 6 to12
year olds; and teens), and eat lunch and dinner with their peers and counselors as part of
the program. In an effort to maintain a balance between family and adult time, children
only eat breakfast with their parents and rejoin them in the evening for after-dinner
activities.
- Summer children's activities include the
horseback riding program (must be at least six years old); hiking; pony rides (three to
five years old); fishing in the ranch pond; paddle boating; game room activities and the
kids corral which includes reading, playing and arts & crafts.
- Winter children's activities include cross
country skiing; ice skating; sledding; broomball hockey and tubing behind a snowmobile.
Counselors make sure that each child receives some ski instruction (five years and older)
with younger children being pulled on a ski sled and other snow-play activities.
