This is your invitation to come and unwind in a very special place. Nestled deep within the Chilcotin Cariboo region of northern British Columbia, Canada is the remote and unspoiled Nemaiah Valley. Although only 1 1/4 hours north of Vancouver by air, the Nemaiah remains one of the special, undeveloped areas of the Chilcotin.

The spectacular setting of the Nemaiah Valley is home to the Elkin Creek Guest Ranch. Nestled between imposing Mount Tatlow of the Coast Mountain Range and sparkling Vedan Lake are the 28,000 acres of the Elkin Creek Ranch cattle operation. Many of the traditions of the early Chilcotin ranchers are still followed with the cattle being moved seasonally between range areas and wintered at the Ranch.

Guests to the Elkin Creek can choose to fill their days with horse back riding with our wranglers, mountain biking, hiking on a variety of trails, sailing, windsurfing, fishing on pristine Vedan Lake or simply relaxing in the clear mountain air are all options.

Throughout the day, our Chef serves delicious meals and snacks. Guests can unwind in the evenings around a camp fire, on the outside Lodge deck, in the cozy western lounge or in the comfort of their private cabin.
