Each cabin is unique in its décor,

the area's wildlife (bear, elk, horse, wolf
and trout), its plant life (wild strawberries,
ponderosa pines and aspen trees) and its people
(Apaches, Navajos and cowboys).
We currently have two pet-friendly cabins,
Trail's End #12 and Blue Quill #6, each with
attached dog run. There is also a 40 foot
by 100 foot play pasture where pets can run
free with supervision.

Check-in/Check-out
Times
Check-in time at Hidden Meadow Ranch is
between 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. We do not
guarantee that your cabin will be ready before
2:00 p.m. Though lunch is not provided on
your arrival day as part of your rate, the
Ranch House is open if you arrive early. If
you will arrive after 6:00 p.m., please call
ahead so we may properly prepare your cabin
for late arrival.
Our check-out time is 11:00 a.m. We welcome
you to enjoy a morning activity, however,
as well as lunch before you depart.
Gratuities
Our goal is to provide the kind of excellent
service you will appreciate. In lieu of tipping
at the time of service, a 12 percent gratuity
will be added to your bill at checkout. Of
course, this gratuity is optional so you may
adjust the amount accordingly. This gratuity
will be divided among all those who served
you, based on hours on duty during your stay.
If you would like to recognize superior service
by an individual, we will be happy to provide
an envelope and note card for your use. For
off-site activities utilizing an outside outfitter,
gratuities are between you and your guide.
Smoking Policy
Because of our location and for the safety
and comfort of our guests, Hidden Meadow Ranch
is a non-smoking environment inside the cabins,
Ranch House, barns and other buildings. To
prevent the possibility of forest fires, ash
containers are provided in designated outdoor
areas. Please respect the beauty and fragility
of our wilderness environment!
Pet Policy/ Guest Horses
We enjoy having guest pets and visiting horses
so we have created a limited number of pet-friendly
cabins and guest stalls in the barn. Your
animal friends will enjoy a vacation with
a high level of service, too!
There is an additional fee of $20/night for
each horse boarded or each pet.
Please understand, though, that we allow
a limited number of guest pets at any given
time out of respect for other guests as well
as the ranch animals and native wildlife.
Visiting pets and horses must have proof of
current vaccinations.
Guest pets must be kept on leash while on
the ranch unless they are in the cabin dog
run or supervised play pasture. Pets must
be in the dog run or crated any time the owner
is not in the cabin. No more than two pets,
please, in a pet-friendly cabin.
Food and water dishes are provided in the
pet-friendly cabins, along with fleece sleeping
mats to protect the furniture and bedding.
Guest horses are housed in box stalls in
the Outfitter Barn. Alfalfa hay is provided
twice per day along with turnout time in the
pasture. The stalls are bedded with shavings
or straw, cleaned twice per day, and have
automatic waterers.
Please remember that we are located in the
national forest in the middle of a Wildlife
Habitat Area so there are predators around
that call this home. Small pets are not recommended
as the eagles might be looking for a hors
d'oeuvre!
