Kids Enjoy Their Family Dude Ranch Vacations at Kay El Bar!

School is in session for most of our season, but when vacations roll around, the Kay El Bar is an ideal spot for families.

Learning to rope

Our instruction-based horseback riding program gives children an opportunity to develop or improve true horseback riding skills. We work in the arena on the basics and continue to work on the Arizona trails. Dudeos during the holidays and in the spring give them a chance to experience a low key competition.

We do not have special children's counselors, babysitters or specific programs for children. They are welcome to participate in all ranch and horseback riding activities, but must be seven to ride on the trails. We will lead younger children around the ranch on horseback.

We do provide helmets and recommend that all children wear them.
