Logan's Guest Ranch is a family owned and operated working cattle ranch. We've been ranching since 1952. With us you will get a taste of what ranch life is really like in rural Montana. In the winter months our cows are fed the old fashioned way with a team of horses and bobsled or wagon.

In early February and March the baby calves are born. We always hope ‘Mother Nature’ will bless us with good weather, but not always. It can be very cold. Lots of snow makes for great snowmobiling and skiing. With April and May comes branding the calves and sorting cattle to get ready for trailing to summer pasture, along with fixing fence and irrigating.

June and July are rodeo months. Cattle have to be move to different pasture. Its also the season to harvest the hay for the following winter. August brings more rodeos. Its also the time to go to the hills and do a little hiking and fishing. September and October are busy months with the cattle.

October and November is time to trail the cows home from summer pasture. It is also hunting season. The mule and Whitetail deer are in abundance. So your days can be spent horseback riding , hiking, helping with ranch chores or fishing beautiful Cottonwood Creek which is right out our back door, a photographers paradise.

What ever time of the year. Three square meals served family style are an important part of every day.
