Tucked into a secluded valley in the Big Horn National Forest of north central Wyoming, Paradise Ranch hosts families, couples and individuals looking for a unique blend of relaxation and excitement in the mountain West. The ranch is nestled along the edge of a forest of Lodgepole Pine and Quaking Aspen and surrounded by over a million acres of national forest lands.

Within a 10-15 minute ride from roughing it in your luxurious cabin, you'll be in one of the more remote spots of America, a place where elk bugle and deer graze, where pine squirrels chatter at you from the treetops and an occasional moose stands belly deep in a clear mountain lake.

For some, vacation means just plain hangin' around the beautifully-appointed log cabins - rustic and cozy but with many modern conveniences and a fireplace. All cabins are either recently renovated or newly built and feature full baths, showers, heating systems, and appliances. Each has a deck where you can relax and read, soak up the excitement of a ranch day or enjoy the cool splendor of the evening while the shadowy fingers of a mid-summer sunset climb up Fan Rock.

The ranch's excellent food is a perfect complement to the Wyoming hospitality you'll find at Paradise. You'll look forward to three meals a day, served family style {all you can eat} whether in the dining room or at the various cook-outs along the mountain trails. They even bake all their breads and desserts, which is one reason why the mealtime conversations usually are filled with comments about both the food and the enjoyable experiences of the day.

There's a corral full of activities at Paradise for both adults and youngsters. First - the horses. If you get up early enough, you'll see the Ranch's string of horses, their nostrils steaming as they thunder down from the high meadows to the ranch corral. You will be matched with a horse that suits your riding ability and is "yours" for the length of your stay.

Paradise's friendly wranglers maintain a flexible program to meet varied needs - everything from a short, one hour walking ride to half-day rides with trotting, loping and lessons, to all-day rides with lunch packed on a mule and cooked along the trail. Many guests use their horses to get to larger, tail-walking trout in relatively nearby mountain lakes. The more earnest anglers may prefer the ultimate four-day pack trip high up {elevation, 9,500 feet} of the wilderness fishing camp. There you'll ride along a string of crystal-clear alpine lakes called Cloud Peak, Flatiron and Frying Pan, and on the rushing streams that connect them.

Our rates are based on the American Plan, which includes lodging, three   family-style meals daily and all regular activities that take place during the   week. A 15% Service Charge will be added to your bill.
