Larry and Wanda Boyd graze their cattle
on the Uncompahgre National Forest on a grazing allotment totaling 900
mother cows. This area is a series of mesas and canyons and is all the
Roubideau Creek drainage. This allotment totals 75,000 acres and ranges in elevation
from 5,700 ft. to 10,000 ft. above sea level. The Boyd’s Ranch in the
unique Roubideau Canyon area offers a variety of vacation opportunities.
Our guests will be able to participate in the daily ranch activities
and management of the cattle as they are moved to fresh pastures throughout
