Cattle
Horses: If you are interested in working with horses of any age, we offer a great opportunity: Come play with the babies and yearlings, start a colt, or enjoy one of the ranch horses. Rocco is always playing with the young horses; you are welcome to spend as much time working with him and the horses as you like. If you'd like to bring your own horse to school, please call to discuss it.
Cattle: There are cattle to check, salt, doctor and move as grass and water dictate. Besides our routine checks of cattle and grazing conditions which might necessitate a move, we have some set times we move cattle: the week of June 20 , the first week of July, the week of July 16, the first and third week of August and the first week of September. We also have a grazing lease in the lower rolling country by Big Timber, and ride there to check on cattle and fences.
