Our first pack-trip of the season is designed to maximize opportunity for wildlife watching with emphasis placed on day rides and hiking in the early summer range of elk, deer, and bighorn sheep. The Sun River Valley is unique for its expansive meadows rimmed by snow-capped peaks.

This trip is similar to Trip #1 and provides scenic day rides, trout fishing along Biggs Creek, and exploration of the Sun River Valley. Each day offers new trails to explore.

This "high adventure" packtrip moves every other day, and is designed for experienced riders wanting a challenge. Traveling in the Middle Fork of the Flathead River area, we cross the Continental Divide twice and spend a lot of time in the high country. Rainbow and Cutthroat trout fishing opportunities on the river abound.

This trip visits the "Chinese Wall", a majestic and rugged 12 mile section of the Continental Divide. Making a loop, we travel through the Sun River Valley area, camping every other day. Excellent opportunities for exploring the surrounding area and for Rainbow and Cutthroat trout fishing.

Late August welcomes the first hint of fall in the air. This trip travels into the North Fork of the Sun River Valley, then climbs to the Chinese Wall, staying at Moose Creek. Fishing opportunities abound.

The Sun River Elk herd is over 1500 in number and in September, the fall breeding season is in full swing. We head west to see first hand the elk dynamics and other wildlife with the backdrop of the high country. Layover days are filled with fishing, hiking, interpretive day rides, or just plain relaxing in a peaceful setting.
