Tumbling River is surrounded by Pike National forest at the air-conditioned altitude of 9200 feet. We are at a perfect location for hiking . Mt. Bierstertat is one of the many 14,000 foot mountains in our area. It overlooks the ranch and with the base only six miles away, it offers a great challenge & a great tale when you get home.

For those that are seeking nature walks, we send you to 12,200 feet to see spectacular flowers and views. We offer guided hiking as well as some great hiking you can do on your own.
