Tumbling
River was founded in 1940 and has been in the Gordon family
for nearly 31 years. Jim and Mary Dale Gordon have made TRR
their life’s work and have brought up four children on
the ranch. They have since retired and have passed on the ranch
operations to their daughter Megan and her husband Scott Dugan.
The Dugans
met at the ranch in 1994 and were married down by the pool
in the fall of 1997. They have been busy building a family
of their own with the birth of their daughter, Laney in 2002
and their son, Finn in 2004. It such a blessing for Megan to
be able to carry on the family business and watch her kids
enjoy all the fun she remembers as a dude kid!
Come

Both Laney
and Finn love to join-in our outstanding programs for babies,
kids and teens! Finn spent 2005 watching the rodeo, eating
at all the cookouts, hiking, and playing with the three to
five program from the view of a baby backpack. He is just itching
to get out and get his hand dirty! Laney celebrated her 3rd
birthday with a “princess pool party” and received
the present she wanted most…five baby chicks. It was
a fun project to raise the chicks and even a bigger surprise
to see how much all the guests kids enjoying playing and taking
care of the chicks too.
 Our
staff is second to none and is a mix of veteran ranch
hands as well as new and enthusiastic first year staff.
This year we had another fantastic crew, especially the
team heading up our kids program. The new nanny program
was a hit and we loved introduced even babies to the
magic of Tumbling River Ranch!
