Roaming buffalo

Enjoy the thrill of the hunt at Wyoming’s premier hunting camp located less than one mile from the southeast corner of Yellowstone National Park. Exceptional opportunities to hunt for elk, mule deer, moose, and big-horn sheep abound in the most remote hunting area in the lower 48 states, covering tens of thousands of acres.

Your 8-day adventure begins at Turpin Meadow Ranch, where you will depart on a long and scenic horseback ride to our Teton Wilderness Hunting Camp. The wall tents with wood smoke drifting from their chimneys will be your home for the next several days. You will have just enough amenities (bedding, a hot shower, and hearty meals) to be comfortable, but not enough to spoil the remote setting of your adventure.

Our highly experienced professional guides will lead you to the mountains, ridges and valleys surrounding the Thorofare River and Yellowstone Park, where the majestic countryside rings with the echoes of the bull elk bugling. One guide for every two hunters is provided, or you can arrange for a private guide for an extra fee and with advance notice.

You will also enjoy waking to the distinct aroma of cowboy coffee and hot biscuits cooking on the campfire. A wealth of hunting stories from this year and years past make evenings truly memorable.
