Horseback riding is available every day except Sunday. And guests are assigned their own horse for the week. The riding program begins on Monday morning with instruction in the  arena. Then it's off on the first trail ride in a group of about 8. As the week progresses, guests may take loping instruction in the arena and enjoy this skill on some of the trails. There's a wide variety of trails, as well as rides to three different cookout sites. Arena games for youngsters and cattle penning for adults on Thursday morning are featured events. The above timberline rides to Stella Mountain and Baldy Mountain are simply  breathtaking. We begin children riding at 6 years of age. Rides generally are divided by age and ability or families may ride together. Families with younger children may ride together on beginner trails, since some trails are only suitable for adults and older children.
